Do Low-Carb Diets Work?

December 05, 2022

It's almost the New Year, which means that we're about to be bombarded by ads for diets and dieting products. Low carb diets are all the rage right now, BUT before you vow to cut out carbs to atone for eating over the holidays, I want you to check out this snippet from The Nourished Mama. In it, I explain what happens when we embark on a low-carb diet and why it appears as though it works initially but inevitably ends up failing.

Do Low-Carb Diets Work? by NutritionIQ

The Bottom Line

Yes, low-carb diets can "work" for a short period of time, but typically any change you see on the scale is due to water loss, and over time they can leave you feeling really out of control around food. If you're sick of yo-yo dieting and the mere thought of embarking on another diet causes you to start eating, we need to chat.

If you enjoyed this video and would like to see more, join us in the Nourished Mama! If you want to get started right away and work at your own pace, the self-study program is the perfect choice for you. If you'd rather a more hands-on experience, get on the waitlist for the LIVE version below.
